The Mercer County Tobacco Dependence Program (TDP) consists of the Mercer County Community Partnership for A Tobacco-Free New Jersey and the Mercer County Tobacco Quit Center. Our local partners include community-based organizations, schools, municipal agencies and concerned individuals working together to change or establish community norms, attitudes and behaviors around tobacco use.
We are committed to supporting the initiatives of the New Jersey Comprehensive Tobacco Control Program (CTCP) to reduce the harms caused by tobacco use and dependence in Mercer County and to prevent initiation of tobacco use.
The Mercer County Tobacco Dependence Program was founded by Robert Wood Johnson Medical School with funding from the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, Comprehensive Tobacco Control Program.
